Coaching is a facilitated dialogue between peers. You know your domain better than I do. I won't pretend otherwise. And, I have skills to unlock perspectives, insights, and blockers to help you reach your goals.
Are you:
If you answered yes to any of the above, then coaching may be right for you. I will work with you personally to explore your goals, hopes, and dreams, what's getting in your way, and help you break through to the leader you know in your heart you are.
Very rarely does anything get done solely on the back of a single person alone. Unless you're a hermit living a coastal cave, you rely on other people around you to get anything done. This is true for work and life. But, as soon as you put a few people together, you have differing opinions, communication styles, personalities, and even goals.
What would it look like to have a unified team? One where the common goal is clear, unambiguous, and shared amongst everyone. One where each person's individual goals are not just explicit, but that everyone else actually helps in achieving those goals in addition to the shared goal? A team where conflict is embraced and used as a means to improve.
Coaching teams can result in:
Outside of work, we are involved in community; be that your kids soccer team, a local volunteer organization, or even your family. We are all connected to someone. But things don't always go the way we want, or the way we hoped.
Each community experiences conflict differently. Sometimes it is under the surface, and rarely talked about. In others, it is vocally (and loudly) expressed. Being able to navigate the varied terrain of conflict is what I am good at. At its core, conflict is merely an expression of unmet needs. I help explore those needs and find a way forward, allowing the community to heal.
Parenting is hard, no doubt about it. And if you're a single parent, or divorced parent, or a blended family, it can be even more difficult as there are so many layers to navigate. I help parents, of all kinds, discover their inner leader, and help to create a loving, trusting environment in which all can thrive, the kids AND the parents.
I can work with you one-on-one to develop your coping and parenting skills. And I can work with the entire family unit to find heathy ways of communicating through conflict, reframe negative talk, uncover the hidden needs of each person in the family, and move forward with better skills and mutual respect.
